When I was 29 years old, 6 months away from getting married, my mom past way. I was supposed to see her soon so we can get ready for my wedding day.  I wanted to pamper her, get her dolled up for the wedding and I wanted her to walk me down the isle with my Dad.  That was 7 years ago I lost my mom ,and as crazy as it sounds, it still hurts when I think of her, but I also remember the great times we had and her wise words.  

When I do these Mother and Daughter photoshoots it brings me so much joy and I do them with so much love. Because I know how special and important these images will be, not only the images, but the special day they are spending together.  

Here is what Monica (daughter) wrote to us: 

"I can't find the appropriate words to describe the amazing experience my mother and I had during our photo session. I had never done anything of the sort so I was very scared to be outside my comfort zone. Carla took care of any jitters we may have had. If you are thinking about it just do it. It's an experience that will leave you feeling on cloud 9. Thank you Carla for sharing your talent with my mom and I."-Monica 

I feel so blessed to be able to share this moment, to  be a part of it and to be able to capture it and show them what a beautiful bond they have and will always have.

I know deep down my mom is right next to me cheering me on and watching these special moments with me.
